Course Description: This course examines The Greater Key of Solomon as a foundational initiatory system that prepares the practitioner for advanced work within the broader Solomonic and ceremonial grimoire traditions. Through a scholar-practitioner lens, we will explore the text’s Renaissance context, its ritual architecture, tool consecration, astrological timing, and its function as a preparatory gateway to works such as the Lemegeton (Lesser Key), the Grimorium Verum, and the Book of Abramelin.
Course Philosophy: This course operates from a scholar-practitioner model that honors both the academic study of esoteric history and the embodied, experiential knowledge that emerges from ritual practice. We approach The Greater Key of Solomon as a living tradition that demands both intellectual rigor and spiritual sincerity.
