Course Description
This seminar explores how beliefs, language, perception, and personal narratives influence psychological functioning and therapeutic relationships. Students critically examine Toltec philosophy alongside evidence-informed counseling approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Person-Centered Counseling.
