Choice-Centered Tarot: Tarot as a Tool for Reflection, Counseling, and Spiritual Direction
Primary Text:
Choice-Centered Tarot by Gail Fairfield
Course Length: 5 Weeks
Course Description:
This graduate seminar examines Gail Fairfield’s Choice-Centered Tarot as a model for using tarot as a reflective and choice-oriented practice. Here, Fairfield presents tarot as a means of fostering insight, clarifying values, and supporting intentional decision-making. Students will evaluate her approach alongside scholarship in counseling psychology, narrative therapy, Jungian psychology, and transpersonal studies while recognizing that tarot is a spiritual and reflective practice as well as a psycho-spiritual intervention.
